Greatness

I choose to be greater than those who dwell as victims in the foolishness of perpetual ignorance.  I will not retreat from greatness; I will not surrender my integrity because I am great.   I choose to be great when all I want to be is bad, which makes me greater than my worst behavior and greater than my greatest accomplishments.  My excellence is beyond all I see, above all I can believe or imagine.  If I could run a thousand miles in the blink of an eye hold time in my hands and breathe eternity into its nostrils and cause lifeless feathers to fly again, I would still be a greater miracle.  And, after I have read every book, heard every song, and danced every dance, greater still dwells in me.  The past has disappeared on an endless journey and I control the future in this moment of reckoning, light, love, self, spirit and hope; In this moment the universe stops to behold me in perfect thought, perfect words and perfect love.   I am greater than greatness will ever be, until greatness is one with eternally.
