You Asked

You asked me how I feel about you and I think you should know
You make the breeze blow to fields where flowers grow.

For every question you ask there will always be and answer,
Deep inside a riddle come a mystery from a dancer.

For how long will I love you and for what reasons I do?

Forever, you’re my sunlight and you make my dreams come true

How and will you still love me in three years?
Yes, and for two hundred more I’ll wipe away your tears

Will I stay awake forever to see your face at dawn?
When forever is done I’ll light eternity for your every morn.

Will I get tired of you and what about your moods?
I decry weariness and to me you’re always cool

Is there a place you go to run from my love?
You can hide in a million places, but I’ll uncover every one.

Will I ever leave you behind and will I ever get weary?
No, I will carry you and if I get tired I have you near me.

Keep asking questions, one-by-one in time you’ll see
That every question has an answer and this I guarantee.
